It’s important that you know that Tuesday Nights are the hub of our ministry. This is our rally point, where we gather everyone together at one place at one time. If your son or daughter is looking to get involved, Tuesday Nights are the first step. Once a student is a regular at tha porch, he or she is then ready to get involved in other parts of the ministry that is desired. The mindset that I have is simple: If a student wants to be in a small group or ministry team, he or she needs to be a part of our ministry first.

Are there exceptions? Yes. Occasionally, we’ll have a student who has a direct conflict on Tuesday nights. In that case, we want the student to be able to get involved in other ways if possible. However, students who don’t want to be part of the ministry on Tuesdays should not be in groups or teams that help lead the ministry.

Here is a list of the groups, teams, and trips that require pre-porch involvement:
- Tha Round-up (Small Group Program)
- Student Ministry Team
- Serving during our Main Porch Meeting
- Summer Missions Trip
- Merge Conference
- Distinction Retreat

As far tha porch in general, all high school students are welcome! This group is not only for students who attend the Hudson Community Chapel, but for all high school students.
