Peanut Butter shakes are my favorite along with chocolate chip pancakes. I own a Kelly Clarkson CD and I have cried each time I’ve seen The Notebook. Besides that stuff – I’m fairly manly. I have a wonderful wife named Didi who I started to date back in HS and we have a son named Jonah who eats, sleeps, and laughs. God has changed my life and I love Him for it...

I also work with the middle school students at Edge, so most of my time is spent with people under the age of 15. It’s a great job! I equally enjoy hanging out with people my own age, too, so don’t judge me. That’s it…call me if you want to go to Starbucks or listen to Iron & Wine together.

I love high schoolers and think it is pretty sweet that hanging out with them is my entire job. All I want to do is tell girls stuff that I wished I had heard when I was in their shoes. I love laughing... and probably laugh more at stuff that isn't funny at all just because I want to laugh.

Besides thinking deeply about Jesus, I always wonder when it's appropriate to use a semicolon. People tell me and I never remember.

I love God, life, people, studying the Bible, laughing, cooking, having parties, a good cup of coffee, and playing golf. I love serving high schoolers. To love them like Jesus is the greatest joy; to be in their midst is the greatest blessing!

Donalie and I have been married for 22 years and we met her senior year of high school at a camp in Southern California. We went to the same church and we were married there 2 years later. Brittany is a college junior and planning to teach high school math. Natalie is a junior at CVCA and loves laughing and having fun. I work at Alcoa where we may aluminum truck and auto wheels. Our wheels were featured on the TV show Knight Rider. I love spending time with high school guys. It's great to see them grow to be men that pursue God.

I have an obsession with the scent apple cinnamon. My family means the world to me and i love to hang out/ work with students of all ages. I had some sweet older girls to hang out with when i was in high school, so i wanted to be that for some of the high school girls now. I also love to laugh ,smile, and play sports of all kinds.

Name: Ellen Mabee What she does: Volunteer :: sophomore girls round-up About: I’m married to a wonderful man named Scott and have two great teenagers, Sam and Sean. I love hanging out with teens! They make me laugh and ask great questions. Plus, they keep me young! I love music, especially the music we sing at Tha Porch. I’m a terrible singer, but probably sing the loudest. I have a passion for God’s Word and love to teach the Bible to anyone who’ll listen. And then watch as God transforms a life…

Name: Brock Thompson What he does: Volunteer :: freshmen guys round-up About: I make really good banana pancakes... but they may give you salmonella. I graduated from Grove City College less than a year ago and am willing to make every effort to resist becoming a "grown-up." I snagged a wife, Hannah, who is fantastic and I love her even though her banana pancakes aren't as good as mine. I enjoy basketball, Halo 3, tennis, banana pancakes, configuring wireless networks and bow hunting... while eating banana pancakes.

Name: Krista Purves What she does: Volunteer About: I just moved back to Ohio after living at the beach for four years... Good think I like skiing and snowboarding. I taught middle school when I lived in North Carolina and love working with students because they are fun and giggle a lot. I have a wonderful husband named Rob and a baby girl named Lily. She is very inquisitive and smiley. She is also the only person I know who doesn't cover her ears when I sing.

Name: Brenda Craig What he does: Volunteer :: senior girls round-up About: I am a dabbler. You know, the person who really isn’t great at anything, but who will try just about anything once. My husband, Bob, is a lot of fun and a guy who firmly subscribes to living “Wild at Heart.” (He rented mopeds for the two of us to cross the Golden Gate Bridge when I was pregnant with our first child, Ryan.) I love spending time with teenage girls. Relationships are key. It doesn’t matter if I’m leading a bible study, chatting over a Vanilla Latte or just singing along to the car radio with my 16 year old daughter, Erin.

I love to read good books, listen to depressing female artists, laugh, cook, and decorate/shop when I have the money. I have my master's in school counseling from Kent State (I love a good one on one conversation!), but I mainly am a mom and wife right now. John swept me off my feet when we were seniors in high school and I have never been happier. I love being in the ministry and doing something that really matters in life. You may not see me around much since I am home with the little guy...but my thoughts and prayers are always with you!
